Welcome! Amange Foundation is the voice of peace and a beacon of hope in the Niger Delta sub-region. It has been six years since Amange Foundation initiated her first project-- Rediscover Education Scheme, RES.
This project initially focused on Nembe LGA youths, as a private community-based development project of the founder and the visionary of Amange Foundation, Sen. Nimi Barigha-Amange. Amange Foundation developmental activities have now grown into six different projects streamlined to improve and better the lot of the people of Bayelsa East and Niger Delta at large.
The projects include:
- Rediscover Education (Scholarship) Scheme
- Niger Delta Peace Initiative, NDPI
- Micro-Business Assist (for youths and women)
- The Peoples' Mouthpiece
- The Widows' Purse
Niger Delta Peace Initiative, NDPI was the second project founded on engendering and maintaining peace in the Niger Delta through dialogue and concessions. Amange Foundation have made great strides in promoting peace in the Niger Delta as the foundation is very close to the federal government and private oil corporations as well as the restive militant boys.
