Amange Foundation, as community based organization, CBO, runs several schemes and projects in her mission of touching one life at a time in Bayelsa East, Niger-Delta and Nigeria at large. These revolving schemes are as enumerated below:
1. REDISCOVER EDUCATION SCHEME This education scheme which started in 2002 comprises two education projects, which are:
a. Remedial Education Project:
This project is a literacy/education promotion campaign scheme within the Niger Delta region. The target of this scheme is secondary, ex-secondary school students and young uneducated Bayelsa East adults. b. Scholar's Aid Project:
In reminiscence of the poor childhood background of the Amange Foundation's chairman/founder, Sen. Nimi Barigha-Amange, these projects supports learning through scholarship for Bayelsa East undergraduate students. 2. NIGER DELTA PEACE INITIATIVE
This peace initiative started in 2003. It was posited towards supporting and promoting lasting peace in the Niger-delta sub-region through the following
a. Peace Negotiations and Dialogue: Sen. Barigha-Amange on his own initiated a number of peace negotiations with the militant youths and has written several letters to the Nigerian President on the way to achieve peace in the sub-region. For more details click…
b. Peace Publications: The first publication of NDPI is “the Road to Peace in the Niger-Delta”. This publication presently, is under revision.
c. Peace Projects : This involves all socio-economic welfare/developmental schemes initiated by the Amange foundation.
d. Peace Campaigns : This takes the form of the various efforts carried out in promoting peace and mutual understanding between the Federal Government and the Niger Delta citizens.
3. MICRO-BUSINESS ASSIST, MBA This scheme consists of the following projects:
a. Women Economic Support Project, WESP : This comes in the form of an easily accessible micro-credit facility to indigent women within Bayelsa East.
b. Youth Economic Empowerment Project, YEEP : This comes assistance given to youths in the pursuit of their highest goal in education and in business establishment.
4. THE WIDOW'S PURSE This comes in the form of micro-credit facilities and handouts given to widows and orphans. This aspect of Amange foundation is more or less the least disclosed aspect of the foundation.
5. THE MOUTHPIECE

6. MOBILE HEALTH PROJECT
